Shauncy Jackson shows her love for home with her streetwear line, Oakland Don’t Play

Oakland Don’t Play designs and sells homegrown streetwear — but what the company delivers is a big dose of positivity for Oakland, with reminders on every shirt, hoodie and hat.

Founder, owner and creative director, Shauncy “Salt” Jackson, a lifelong Oakland resident, wants the world to know about all the good things that come out of Oakland.  Her company’s “Hall of Game” collection celebrates Oakland schools alumni who have made a mark in the world — athletes like Bill Russell, Damian Lillard and Gary Payton and artists like Too Short, Mistah Fab and the band Tony! Toni! Toné!
